Recently Kyo had been looking for a different bar for he had been band from most others. He had been searching the dark streets to find a quite place were he could just sit and drink , he had even started to ask passing people if they knew anywhere. Kyo was now starting to think there was no were and he had started to reach the outer parts of the City. The streets were empty and it was starting to get dark so he was just going to give up and head home. Kyo was now to far from home and so he head to the train station to catch the last train heading to the other side of town.

Once he had his ticket he jumped onto the empty train and sat in the corner facing the window and waited for the train to go. After a while the doors started to close - but just at the last moment a Chuian girl came from round the corner and squeezed onto the train. As she strolled in past Kyo, her huge black coat drifted along and flapped against her tatty jeans. But Kyo noticed something about her. Her ears were thicker than a normal Chuian and her tail was thicker too. She had a black tip on the end of her tail, black rims around the edge of her ears and two curved, black lines from corner of her eyes and over her cheeks and also she had bright yellow fur and a pattern of black spots all over her giving her a half human and cheetah appearance. Also her eyes were different, one was blue and one was green. They were stunning alone but magnified behind her silver glasses on the end of her nose made them look like diamonds.

The train was empty and Kyo and her was the only one on it, but even thought there was a lot of space the girl sat opposite Kyo in the other corner, at the back. The girl slouched down in the corner and got out a book from her denim bag that was slung over her shoulder. After quite a while the girl glanced up to Kyo.

"Advanced energy transferal trigonometry" Said the girl in a warm and sweet voice, smiling at Kyo.

"Eh?" Kyo had been day dreaming and hadn`t noticed he had been gazing at her.

"You were trying to read the book title weren`t you ?" she asked.

"Ummm . . . yeah. Nice book" Kyo said.

"Your joking - This book is touchier" the girl said smiling at Kyo and resting her head against the window.

"Oh . . . I was just joking` - I haven`t read that but it sounds bad . . . What`s ya name ? - if you don`t mind me asking" asked Kyo, now turning to her.

"Well - I`m Jay, or my friends call me Blue Jay. What`s yours?" Jay said while resting her book down on her lap.

"Kyo" he said. Jay tilted her head to a side and looked at Kyo strangely.

"Kyo ? . . . Kyotoshi Lypha ?" Asked Jay.

"Yeah ? Ya` know me ?" asked Kyo slightly taken back.

"Well Iv heard of you. Your banned from just about every bar in town aint ya ?" laughed Jay.

"Ummm, tiz` not funny. I can`t find any were to jus` sit n` ave` a quite drink now" sighed Kyo. Suddenly the train had pulled into the station and stopped with a screech.

"You getting off hear ?" asked Jay.

"Yeah" Kyo said, both if them getting to their feet.

"Well I know a nice place down the road. Want to join me for a drink ?" Asked Jay.

"Well . . . OK" Kyo said.

Jay led him out of the station and they walked on down familiar streets that were not far off from Kyo`s home. For a while they walked in silence but then -

"- Well come on then - we`re hear" Jay said now turning into a ally and pulling Kyo along by the sleeve and dragging him down some stairs to a black door with a blue glass window with the words - `Blue Frost` printed onto the door in black.

Jay opened the door and inside there was a bar and tables around every were. The room had blue lighting and one normal light in the center, the walls on two sides of the square room was brick and the other two blue as well. The floor was metal and there was about two people at the bar and seven people sat at tables. At the other side of the room was some deep blue curtains that led off some were and to the right next to the bar was the toilets. Jay led Kyo in and they both sat at the bar.

"What you havin` ?" asked a Black Nikitak with a green streak of fur down his back.

"Me and my friend hear will have a whisky - and put it on my tab aye` Sticky" Said Jay with a wink to the bar man.

"Can do Blue Jay, and by the way - Tizzy is in the back and he wants to see you. He don`t seem that happy with you" said Sticky.

"Oh, well I`m sure its nothing and he can talk to me later" said Jay without a care as Sticky slammed down two large whisky`s in front of them and walked to the other side of the blue lit bar to serve a mean looking Myche reading a huge book in the dark.

"So ? . . . Tell me some thing about you then lady" Jay said then downing her whisky hole.

"Something about me ? Like what ?" asked Kyo confused.

"Any thing and every thing Kyo" Jay yawned stretching out on the bar and resting in her arms. Kyo didn`t really know what to say to her. What did any thing and every thing mean anyway ?

"Well . . . My favorite color is light orange" Kyo saying the first thing that came to his head now wishing he hadn`t. But Jay didn`t laugh, she snuggled up in her arms and looked up at Kyo.

"My favorite color is purple and white and black and yellow and red and blue and pink and gold and silver and green and brown and gray and every color you can think off - even the ones that don`t exist to our eyes" Jay muffled through her sleeves while closing her eyes and letting them role under her eyelids.

"How can all them colors be your favorite if you can only have one ? Shouldn`t it be blue ?" Kyo laughed slightly.

"I might be called Blue Jay but I don`t exactly stand up to the color" laughed Jay.

"Well you tell me some thing about you then Blue Jay" asked Kyo interested in what she would say.

"Some thing about me ? Hummm . . . Well I . . . Ummm . . . I don`t know ? What do you want to know ?" asked Jay.

"Well what do you want me to know ?"asked Kyo trying to confuse her like she was doing to him.

"OK . . . Well - I . . . I`m very open minded" said Jay swiveling round on her stool and leaning against the bar and looking to Kyo with her deep none telling eyes and her glowing smile.

"Well tell me more" Kyo said, smiled and daydreaming back into her diamond eyes.

"Well . . . I`m a good drinker" Jay giggle to Kyo.

"I bet I could beat you!" Kyo challenging her.

"Is that a challenge?" asked Jay.

"Well as long as your paying" laughed Kyo.

"SHA ! You shall not - will not beat me !" Jay growled. Jay lent over the bar and pulled over two shot glasses and a huge bottle of something bright green.

"Craika ! What`s that ?!" Kyo asked, squinting at the bright liquid.

"Absen" Smirked Jay while poring two glasses "Very strong stuff" Jay said holding up her glass to Kyo, who held up his glass too "ONE - TWO - THREE!"

Kyo and Jay went on for a while drinking Absen shots and after a while Jay seemed to have had a lot more than Kyo and she was starting to slip off her stool and babble about anything.

"Jay . . . Jay ! I think you had enough" Kyo said taking the bottle from her.

"OI! Not with out the password !" Jay giggled snatching back the bottle.

"Jay, gimme the bottle!" Kyo demanded, wrenching it from her grip.

"BLEGH! Nasty guy -megh!" Giggled Jay jumping on Kyo and kissing him out of no were, but before Kyo could even move, suddenly Jay leapt to her feet and before Kyo had a chance to say anything she had gone over to the toilet door and her coat whipped out the door behind her.

"Sticky!"

From behind the blue velvet curtain, a huge pure black Hekshanian guy with blood red eyes had appeared and was leaning over the bar and talking quietly to the bar man for about five minuets. His trousers held up by a bark brown leather belt with a gun tucked into it, gleaming in the blue light, Kyo couldn`t keep his eyes off it. It make him feel uncomfortable and a bit scared. But before long he had gone back to the room beyond the curtain, and almost directly after Jay came back and sat with Kyo.

"You OK ?" asked Kyo. Jay seemed to freeze. She ignored his question and called over to Sticky.

"STICKY" she shouted as he stomped over "I`m off and what ever he orders put it on my tab"

"OK" He said turning back to his other customers.

"I have to go now" Jay said getting up and before Kyo could ask any questions she had ran off and shot out the door with her black coat whipping out behind her. Kyo shot out after her and back out into the ally. But as he reached the end of the ally he was only in time to see her whip round the corner of the street. But Kyo didn`t want to leave her out at this time on the street and drunk, so he ran after her in the direction she had gone.

As soon as Kyo sprinted round the corner he spotted her at the corner of the block across the street. She was curled up and crying, leaning against the wall. Kyo froze and Jay looked up to see him looking over to her. Instantly she scrambled to her feet and ran on round the corner -

` B A N G ` There was a sound of a gut shot. Kyo immediately shot after Jay again to see what was going on, but before he even got across the street Jay came back flying round the corner. Her coat open and flapping behind her as she sprinted past Kyo.

"RUN" Jay screamed back to Kyo. Kyo was glued to the spot though, he wanted to know what was going on, but just then a huge black sports car screeched from round the corner with six Hekshanian guys in it, and the one driving was pure black with blood red eyes.

The car came screeching at Kyo at full speed and Kyo turned on his heal and sprinted as fast as he could to catch up with Jay and not get run over. Kyo caught up with Jay but the car was gaining fast. Jay grabbed Kyo by the sleeve and quickly pulled him sharply into a ally and they both landed with a crash into the floor and the car sped by.

Kyo just caught his breath and was just about to ask what was going on , when Jay grabbed him to his feet.

"They will be turning back, we need to move !"Jay panicked.

"Well if you don`t mind !- WHO ARE THEY !" Kyo shouted out of frustration.

"They want to shoot me, and that means you if you get in the way, that`s all you need to know- now come on" Jay said quietly as she sprinted on to the ally fence and jumped over with ease. Kyo wanted to turn around and head home, but he felt like he was in this now and he couldn`t leave her. He wanted to know what`s going on. So Kyo jumped over the fence too and followed Jay on over fences, down ally`s, across small roads and then, Jay and him were now at a bridge over a train track. Jay showed no problem with jumping over the rail and leaping down to the track below. But Kyo didn`t want to jump because it was to high for him, but the urge of getting to know what all of this was about made him let go of the rail and jump down to Jay.

"Welcome to my place" said Jay glumly. Under the bridge was sheets and blankets, bits and bobs, bottles every were, a fire in the center and a sword by a mattress and sheet.

"This is your home ?" asked Kyo amazed as Jay slumped down in a pile of sheets.

"The trains don`t come by this track any more and I have no money so, yes this is my home" said Jay.

"Well . . . can you now please tell me what is going on ?" asked Kyo sitting next to Jay on a pile of cloths.

"If I tell you then they will want you dead, I`m not going to drag you into this. My problem, not yours . . . I only invited you for a drink, not to sell you life off" Jay said pawing her hands through her hair.

"How will any one know that I know ?" asked Kyo.

"They know almost everything, they have a lot of connections and stuff, they know people and word gets around quick with them" Jay said now flopping back on the rags.

"They wont know though if you tell me now then we never speak of it again ?" Kyo persuaded her.

"You have to promise that it will not leave your tong, for your own safety" Jay sighed and closed her eyes.

"OK, I promise" Kyo said, not knowing what was going on.

"They are part of a huge street gang, not like the one`s that try to be hard and pick on people for no reason but for the shire thrill. The one`s like you think only exist in movies, they have pent house sweets and car`s and money, and they murder who ever does them wrong. They are like the secret Mafia around hear, and they are connected with the Rulerists. The Rulerists want me dead and so Tizzy and his guys want me dead" Jay paused and took a deep breath.

"Why do they want you dead ?" asked Kyo in the most gentle way he could.

"Because I was born to serve the Rulerists in the war, but I have my own mind, of which they did not plan on me having so they can not control me and now they want rid of me before I turn on them with what they gave me" Jay said with a cold and frosty hint in her voice.

"Gave you ? And what do you mean you were born to serve the Rulerists ?" asked Kyo.

"I was born to look as normal as possible. To look like any other person you would see walking down the street. They changed me in a more cruel way. They made me able to create orbs of energy that act like bombs. And if I over do it then I become a bomb myself and . . . well . . . They let me go because they thought I was a failure and now they know that I planned to look weak so I could be free and now they think I am against them so they want me to be out of the picture. Before they didn`t know when they let me go. But then I made my life with Tizzy and his gang, I had a life of my own. But then the Rulerists took hold of the gangs around hear and Tizzy let them know about me and how strong I was. They offered him power if they get rid of me. And just like him, he couldn`t refuse power" Jay cringed and curled up, hugging her knees.

"Are you ? - . . . Are you a Inhuman ?" asked Kyo.

"No. I`m half breed" Jay said.

"A half breed ?" asked Kyo.

"Inhumans are mostly born as twins. A Human with a Inhuman spirit and a Inhuman with a Human spirit. They chose the best pair they had, then made me. Crossing a twin with its own twin seems sick doesn`t it ? But its what I am. I can`t change that" Jay said with the coldness returning to her voice and hugging her knees tightly.

"So . . . what is Inhuman about you then ?" asked Kyo, now remembering about Grey for some reason. He had left him with Jet to keep a eye on him. Not the smartest thing he has ever done.

"Well . . . Unnatural power and ESP, but I don`t like to use my `gifts` . . . and . . well, look at me, I`m not exactly a Chuian. I resemble half human and half cheetah - {an extinct cat from Earth}. I`m half dead inside- If you cross a Inhuman with a Human you get half of both...

You know , if you want, you can leave. I know most people don`t like to mix with me" said Jay in the kindest way she could.

"What if you met a other Inhuman ?" asked Kyo, ignoring her suggestion to go.

"A other Inhuman ? . . . Well . . . Kin have to stick together, I guess I would try to be friends" said Jay strangely "I`v never met an other Inhuman"

Kyo began to think. What would happen if he helped her and took her back to see Grey ? Maybe she could help him ? Maybe she could try and do something like . . . cure his blindness or something or even make him less aggressive at times ?

"I have a Inhuman staying with me. Grey. Would you be able to help him in any way ?" asked Kyo. Jay seemed to freeze up. Her ears pinned back and her pupils narrowed.

"Why ? How ? Is his hurt or something ?" asked Jay with her warmth returning to her voice and now seeming worried for Grey.

"Well . . . I would like to know if you can help one an other. And he isn`t hurt. But he has gone Blind" Said Kyo.

"Most do when they first come out. Can I see him ?" asked Jay.

"Well I don`t see why not. Come with me and I`ll introduce you" said Kyo getting to his feet. Jay jolted up too and followed Kyo.

They went up the side of the hill and back onto the road, then across streets and down ally`s. And not far off they came to a black of apartments and went in. The elevator didn`t work so they had to go up the stairs. Eventually they came to a door. A dirty gray color with brown marks of were the numbers 276 used to be. Kyo opened the old door and walked in.

"JET?" shouted Kyo. Instantly a twitchy and hyper Hekshanian guy came into view. Jumping and his teeth chattering he zoomed over to Kyo and started talking so fast Kyo didn`t get a word of it.

"HAYKYOGreyisrestingonthechair andheisokhejustrestingi didntdoanythingiswear!!!! HAYnicegirlhowmuchyoupay forherAHAHAHAHA!!! WELL anywayigottodashgottoeatgottosleep andremmberKyoalwaystipyourmonkey!!!!"

Jet babbled on for an other few minuets then collapsed on the floor. Kyo seemed to think nothing of it and walked on into the apartment. Jay followed in and shut the door, stepping over Jet and following on. In the apartment was a old, broken bed and a small TV in the corner. In the opposite corner was a tatty sofa and curled up on the sofa was Grey with a blanket over him. Kyo completely missed him and walked on into the small kitchen, but Jay had seen him. Jay seemed to buckle at the sight of him, her body froze, she lost her voice and choked on her tong when she tried to say something and her pupils were narrowing and widening with every heart beat.

Grey had now opened his eyes and his dead blank eyes her fixed on her. Grey sat up but still kept his eyes on her. Jay some how managed to get her legs to work and started to walk over to Grey while Kyo was in the kitchen looking for food. Jay held out one shaking hand to Grey and did not speak. Jay didn`t know what she was doing and her mind was flashing with nothing. Gray held out his hand too and held her hand. His hand was warm from the blanket and it suddenly made Jay feel better, her eyes stopped zooming in and out of focus and her body seems lose again. Gray and Jay both said nothing. But Grey could tell she was of no threat to him and Jay could tell that he was no threat to her.

Kyo came back in from the kitchen and was in shock. Grey was sat up on the sofa and Jay was curled up in his blanket on his lap. And Grey was stroking her hair as if she was a pet he had had for ever.

Then Grey looked up to Kyo and said -

"I like are new friend, will she be coming back tomorrow to?"
