Some people have, much to their credit, noticed that there are an awful lot of green cars which appear in inhuman. The story of the obnoxious green car begins long ago, in 2000, when I was doing a mouse-drawn comic on keenspace with the Inhuman characters. Out of ideas, I asked Zar to draw a strip for me. She came up with this gem.
Although the original humor of the comic was supposed to be joking on the movie 'reefer madness', the car screaming LOOK AT ME IM AN OBNOXIOUS GREEN CAR had us in stitches way more. it became a running joke. it was even appearing in other people's drawings, perhaps conciously, perhaps subconciously...

Before Inhuman really took off, though, the obnoxious green car started making appearances in both my and zar's silly comics.

After initial appearances of the obnoxious green car in the comics, it became an unspoken vow that EVER car we EVER drew into those comics would be the obnoxious green car. And so it was. When Inhuman started, I thought I'd throw the obnoxious green car in as a joke. It appeared as Kyotoshi's car, which Jet drove around.
On page 28, Soshika observes
a green car she thinks is familiar.
Little did I realize that my stickling for continuity would ensure the obnoxious green car would get drawn again.
  
But, I thought to myself, why stop there? WHY STOP THERE? Why not make EVERY car an obnoxious green car?!

The damage with the obnoxious green car had been done. It was irreversable. It was becoming universally known. Every car that ever appeared in Inhuman would be obnoxious and green. To this day, it still appears in fanart.

-All of it is obnoxious green. Inside, outside, even the tires.
-Its horn goes 'ank ank'
-It is the longest running joke ever (5 years and counting)
-It seats 4 and is 4 door
-The trunk is broken
-It has a tapedeck but no CD player
-It can transform into any make or model, and sometimes may become trains or bicycles. Even mariokarts!
