i was trying to think of how Mites fly, move and live with that membrane. changing a design isnt simple in my book, oh no. this was mostly to show the membrane stretches and tends to stay close to the body. also, that flat large tail helps them fly.
Crouching Ashido
messing with the movement of the membrane over the rest of the body. im a loser :O ash looks pissed.
Landing Ashido
youll notice my notes all around this. basicly, since mites can extend an extra bone between joints, they extend and 'shrink' their fingers, toes, legs and arms to spread the membrane to a flying distance. Mites fly like delta kites (the top is smaller than the bottom) so this is a landing position.
